We are looking for Golang Backend Engineer to join our strong professional team bringing the next-generation contact center technology.

This is an onsite position and requires work from the offices (South San Francisco or/and Pleasanton, CA)

• Decent knowledge and practical experience in backend development using Golang
• Ability to design solid solutions and justify them
• You have to be willing to take ownership of a significant piece of functionality, become responsible for its quality and performance, and take pride when it works well.
• You should be a team player and be ready to work with peers to discuss and agree on solutions, approaches, and all the development aspects. Your success is a team success.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal daily supervision
• Be willing to constantly develop new hard and soft skills, acquire knowledge and share it with the team.
• You should be comfortable either working with an existing codebase or creating applications from scratch.

Required skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• At least 1 year of experience with Golang
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience implementing scalable and stable HTTP/Rest services
• Experience in system design
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

Ideal Additional Skills (not required)

• Experience with Java development and MariaDB
• Experience with Docker
• Linux experience (development, operation, administration)
• Familiarity with Jenkins, ReactJS, NodeJS
